Instructions

1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.

2. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper on both sides.

3. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.

4. Place the chicken pieces on the preheated grill, skin side down.

5. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the skin is crispy and browned.

6. Brush the barbecue sauce generously over the chicken pieces.

7. Continue grilling for another 2-3 minutes.

8. Flip the chicken pieces over and brush the sauce on the other side.

9. Grill for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

10. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.

11. Serve the barbecue chicken with extra sauce on the side, if desired.
